Gleneagles Hospital Chennai, in collaboration with the Bangladesh Medical Tourism Association (BMTA), hosted an informative knowledge-sharing session on advanced cancer treatment in Dhaka on July 28, 2026. The event, held at the Hotel Omni Residency in Banani, brought together leading medical professionals and industry representatives to discuss the latest breakthroughs in oncology and modern therapeutic techniques designed to significantly improve patient care and treatment outcomes.
The session was led by distinguished cancer specialist Dr. Balaji Ramani, Director of the Institute of Cancer at Gleneagles Hospital Chennai. Addressing the gathering, Dr. Ramani presented critical insights into emerging diagnostic and therapeutic technologies, as well as innovative, cutting-edge treatment methodologies that are currently transforming global cancer care standards.

The event featured prominent representatives from both organizing bodies, including Mr. Shomnath Shetty, Vice President of Gleneagles Hospital; Mr. Shushovan Roy Chowdhury, representative for Gleneagles Hospital Chennai; along with BMTA Vice President Shabbir Ahmad Tamim and Secretary General A.K.M. Mofasserul Haq Pintu, alongside other members of the association.
